I join the company right after I return to Malaysia from United Kingdom. I have been given opportunity to work on some well known accounts across the region such as Hotlink, Old Town Coffee, Citibank, Olympus, CIMB Bank and more. My main responsibility in the company is doing maintenance and regular updates on the Hotlink website.
My first design job in United Kingdom after graduated from my Master study. My main responsibilities in the company were doing web interface mock-up, flash animation and flash coding. It is a very good experience to work with people from different background and culture as it help me to broaden my knowledge in differnt design process.
After my BA graduation, I joined the company as temporary personnel in order to gain working experience before pursuiting my Master study. I worked in a team of 4 members and my responsibilities include designing web layout, website coding, e-magazine design, poster design, logo design and greeting card design.
After graduated from the college, I was working as a full time freelance designer in a team which formed by 3 members. Beside doing regular design task, my other responsibilities in the team are dividing the job task, encourage and motivate team members and manage the art direction. Our works include website design, interactive flash animation and game, logo design, icon design, greeting card design. I left the team in order to pursuit the Bachelor Degree study.
Flash website. Design a simple flash slide-show portfolio website for the Tectomic Architecture Design.
Website programing. Convert the website layout for the company, Chemicals & Engineering, into a functional XHTML website.
Greeting card design. Design a series of “Valentine” and “Aidilfitri” greeting cards for a kiosk machine.
Flash programming. To create and programed the playback function to a series of flash animation from the company, Science With Me.
Website coding. Convert the website layout into a functional XHTML website for the 11th Annual GlobalMET Conference
Branding. Logo and business card design for the Excelcom Service company.
Assist my professor in designing the “Golf8” application. I been requested to do the interface design and the demonstration of the program.
Volunteer to assist in the Intersections Design Conferences.
I have develop thorough understanding about web usability and accessibility from the study. It enhance me in designing user friendly website which always compliance to the W3C standard and SEO friendly. The overall modules has broaden my knowledge in web design and enhance me with the design management process.
My final year porject is create an interactive "eFish" game website. It is a web game base on “Tamagotchi” game concept which let users to raise "eFish" online. Besides that, I have also taken initiative to learn new 3D software package, MAXON Cinema 4D and Body Paint, by myself in order to accomplish one of my project.
Final year project: create a website for a non-profit organisation who helps to protect and preserve the tropical rainforest. I learned a lot of basic software skills from the study such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Director, Flash, FreeHand, Quark Express, LigthWave etc.
I like to travel to meet new friends and experience different culture. Traveling always help me to broaden my mind and inspire me with new ideas. I am also enjoying in movies and videogame, it is part of my design inspiration. Besides that, I also enjoying in surfing internet, browses through other designer portfolio, tutorial and learn new skills.
